Terms for commissioned works by Patrick Farrand
	RESULT:  Patrick Farrand is passionate about his work, and you will see it come through in your commissioned art.   In the end you will have a one of a kind piece of art, created specifically for you and your requirements and likes.  Created using only the finest materials to insure longevity of your painting for your enjoyment, and the enjoyment of future generations to come.  STYLE AND MEDIA: Commissioned works can include portraits from life or photographs, landscapes (including cityscapes, skyscapes and seascapes), interior or exterior site specific murals, or reproductions of master works, and can be impressionistic, realistic, or surrealistic, and created in oil, acrylic, graphite, charcoal and/or mixed-media.   The commission can also conform to any special requirements such as creating a series of works which reflect a particular theme, a specific size requirements and/or desired colors in order to match an existing color scheme for a particular space.   This can be done by fusing different subjects from different photographs in order to recreate one image, be it a landscape, portrait, mural, etc. INCIDENTALS:  During the initial consultation, the Artist will also determine the estimated completion date of your commissioned work as well as any delivery and installation costs, and travel and expenses for site specific works created ‘on site’ outside of the greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas.  Framing is not included with a commissioned work unless arrangements are made in advance.   PAYMENT: Once all parties agree on the commission project and the fee, a payment schedule of three equal payments will be required as follows. The first non-refundable* payment due at commencement of the commission, the second payment when the Artist determines himself to be mid way through the process, and the final payment upon completion and delivery of the art work. In the very unlikely event that the painting is not accepted, the painting and the first payment will remain the property of the artist. DELIVERY:  Delivery and installation will differ from client to client and will be determined prior to commencement of the commission agreement and added to the price of  the commission if applicable.  F.O.B.
